Take a step off the beaten track and join us for an educational walk through one of our local communities where you will have the opportunity to visit a local creche, sample some local food and even some traditional beer. You might even be lucky enough to have your future read by the local Sangoma (Traditional Healer). End the experience off with a delicious traditional meal.
Schedule (Seasonal)
- Depart Hoedspruit approximately 11H00.
- Arrive at Nourish where we will make our way to Sigagule Village.
- Spend the next 2 hours experiencing life in the village.
- Traditional lunch will be served.
What You Should Bring
- Comfortable shoes is a must as we will do walking on dirt road and uneven terrain.
- Hat and sunscreen during the summer months.

You will have the chance to meet one of the grannies who will show you their traditional mat weaving skills, learnt generation after generation.
After that, you will deserve a special treat, tasting her home made peanut butter!!
Your guide will share stories about beliefs, lifestyles, culture and social dynamics as you walk through the village giving you deeper insight into life in rural Africa.
You will finish the tour at a traditional healer (Sangoma) who will explain his age old trade.
After all this you will have the opportunity to taste a local meal and a traditional beer.
