Details & Itinerary
The Kruger National Park is one of South Africa's greatest wildlife destinations, home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) along with hundreds of other mammal, bird and reptile species. On this full-day tour you'll explore the park in an open safari vehicle with an experienced, permitted guide, using the Park's extensive network of roads to track down as much wildlife as possible.
The Park is open all year round and rewards visitors in every season. Winter (April - August) tends to offer easier game viewing, as thinning vegetation and scarcer water draw animals to rivers and waterholes. Summer (September - February) is our busiest season, bringing lush green scenery, newborn animals and dramatic bushveld skies, with wildlife spread a little further across the park.
Whichever season you visit in, our guides know the park well and will do everything they can to find you great sightings along the way.

Best Times for This Excursion
The Kruger is open all year, and every season has its charm. Dry winter months (April - August) generally offer easier sightings, as animals gather closer to water sources and the thinning bush opens up the views. The wetter summer months (September - February) bring lush green scenery and newborn wildlife, alongside our busiest travel season.
Transportation to the Park
We include return transportation to and from your hotel in an open safari vehicle, driven by an experienced, registered and permitted guide, so you can sit back and focus on the wildlife from the moment you leave your accommodation.
